The EEA/UTE has a proud history of political action. We value and encourage strong relationships with all publicly held offices that impact our employment, schools, and communities. Our profession has become politicized. Decisions impacting retirement, class size, salary, curriculum, and healthcare are just a few made by legislators. If teachers want to influence these decisions, we must be poltically active to elect pro-education candidates.
The EEA/UTE is proud to have over 75% of its members belonging to the Washington Education Association Political Action Committee or WEA-PAC.
